Available in 9 standard colors, Sierra Stain® is a concentrated, penetrating, reactive acid stain that chemically combines with cured concrete to produce permanent, variegated color effects. Whether you’re looking to achieve a black, grey, or brown acid stain for concrete, Sierra Stain offers a versatile range of hues, including patina-style finishes.
This water-dilutable stain is packaged in 1-gallon (3.8 L) bottles of concentrate and is recommended to be diluted 1:1 with water. At diluted strength, coverage is approximately 200–300 square feet per gallon, although this may vary depending on surface conditions. For richer color, a second application is recommended.
Please note that wide color variations, mottling, and unevenness of the color are normal and to be expected, part of what gives acid stain concrete its natural, marbled look. Ideal for interior and exterior applications.
Dilution & Application:
- Dilute one bottle with one gallon of water
- Apply with a brush, sprayer, or roller
- Surface must be prepared with E-Etch, Surf Prep, or mechanical grinding
- Neutralize with Nutra Clean or Balance after staining.
